- Checking the attendant list.
- Giving the small chat about the material which will be discussed to know the students’ basic knowledge about material.
2. While Activities (50 minutes)
- The language teacher gives a brief summary of the content of the dialogue. The dialogue is not translated but equivalent translation of key phrases should be given in order for the language learners to comprehend the dialogue.
- The language learners listen attentively while the teacher reads or recites the dialogue at normal speed several times. Gestures and facial expressions or dramatized actions should accompany the presentation.
- Repetition of each line by the language learners in chorus is the next step. Each sentence may be repeated a half dozens of times, depending on its length and on the alertness of the language learners. If the teacher detects an error, the offending learner is corrected and is asked to repeat the sentence. If many learners make the same errors, chorus repetition and drill will be necessary.
- Repetition is continued with groups decreasing in size, that is, first the two halves of the class, then thirds, and then single rows or smaller groups. Groups can assume the speaker’s roles.
- Pairs of individual learners now go to the front of the classroom to act out of the dialogue. By this time they should have memorized the text.
3. Post Activities (15 minutes)

I hope it will be a good lesson plan... But if there are some mistakes, I'm hoping for the readers' suggestions... Thanks
BalasHapusi think that's an interesting lesson plan, we can use it as a referential when composing lesson plan :)
BalasHapusAnnisa Fidiyati ^.^
thanks...
BalasHapusthe brainstorming is important, to activate students' schemata. Improve in that, wira.
BalasHapusGOOD lesson plan.
BalasHapusbut why u need 2 times meeting in teaching this materials,,?
is 1 meeting not enough?
what kind of brainstorming, actually??
BalasHapusI think by giving the small chat about the material which will be discussed, it's good enough to know the students’ basic knowledge about material before learning what they will learn...
@linda: I need 2 meetings to emphasize the learners, to make sure that they are quite masterly the material...
good planning !
BalasHapusbut i suggest you use different material in the next meeting, even though the activities are still same ...
yup, maybe by modifying the previous materials become the new one
BalasHapusi Agree with u...
BalasHapusyeah, so be it
BalasHapuswhat's your understanding about brainstorming?
BalasHapusto know students' basic knowledge of materials to be discussed?
or
to GIVE the students a 'brief' view of what will be learnt?
yes, you did a small chat. that's why I said improve that.
do you smell what I'm cooking, wira?
Brainstorming is the teacher's effort to activate the students' mind, whether it's by giving a brief view of the materials will be learned, or by discussing some topics which are related to the materials will be discussed, so the students will have some thoughts about the materials before discussing it further..
BalasHapusI understand exactly what u mean, what u're cooking
