First Meeting
1. Standard Competence
Expressing the meaning of the simple transactional and interpersonal conversation to interact with others.
2. Basic competence
Doing interaction with the closest environtment involving : greeting someone, introducing themselves to others, and commanding someone.
3. Ojectives
students have ability to introduce themselves to another.
4. Indicator
- students are able to introduce themselves to the others
- students are able to respond within the conversation

6. Method : Audio Lingual Method
7. Technique:
Teacher shows the students simple conversation about self introduction in front of the class. Then asks the students to follow his/her conversation for several times. Then divides the class in to two group in which one group initiates the conversations and the others respond it. Teacher then command the students to practice the same conversations with their partners. The last, teacher commands them to include their personal data in the conversation. Drilling in every practice is emphasized.
8. Teaching Learning Activity
- Pre Activity (15 minutes)
- Teacher greets the class
- Teacher checks the attendance list
- Brainstorming
- While Activity (50 minutes)
- Teacher gives the example how to introduce her/him self
- Teacher explains what necessarily needed in introducing themselves
- Teacher commands the students to follow what the teacher say for several times
- Teacher asks the students to be two large group. One group will initiate the conversation, while the other one will respond it.
- Teacher makes sure that the students will be able to accept the way to introduce themselves. Then command the students to work in partner and do the conversation that has been given.
- Teacher randomly points the students to respond the conversation.
- Teacher asks the students to do the real self introduction with their partner.
- Teacher asks each group to stand up and practice the conversation while the other should pay attention.
- Post Activity (15 minutes)
- Teacher leads question and answer regarding the material
- Closing

atin is absolutely right.. coz we have to make them be able to speak English fluently... I don't want to see them be like me, who has been learning English since elementary up 2 now, but still don't be able to master it excellently...

BalasHapusi think ALM method concern in speaking ability. and it's good for our students to improve their abilities in speaking.
the students won't get bored if the method is brought attractively... That's right the possibility of bored may appear, but actually we can bring the students another topic what the students want, for example act as his/her favorite actor in the movie by using drill method... I think it will be more interesting, depends on the teachers' ability in mastering the method...
