A. Standard Competence
Understanding the meaning of transactional and interpersonal dialog formally and sustained in daily life contexts.

B. Basic Competence
Responding the meaning of transactional and interpersonal dialog formally and sustained accurately, fluently and acceptable by using various oral language in daily life context and involving the expression of Persuading and encouraging


C. Objectives
·        Students are able to complete the incomplete dialog using the expression of Persuading and Encouraging.
·        Students are able to answer the questions based on the dialog listened.

D. Indicators
·        Identify the meaning of the expression of Persuading and Encouraging
·        Give the response of the expression of Persuading and Encouraging

Pre Activity (15 minutes)

      Listen to the dialogs. Find out whether the following statements are  T for

      Man           : It’s term break next week.
      Woman      : Yeah…it is.
      Man           : Any plans?
      Woman      : Hey, how about going to the symphony orchestra at Taman
                          Ismail Marzuki?
      Man           : A symphony orchestra? That’s good idea. I love classical
                          music.
      Woman      : What about you, Sandro? Want to join us?
      Sandro       : I’m sorry I can’t. I plan to watch a football match on TV.
      Man           : Oh, come on. This is the most spectacular concert ever. You
                          won’t regret it.
      Sandro       : Well, let me think about it.
      Woman      : OK. If you change your mind, give me a call.
      Sandro       : OK. I will.
      (The sound of a bell ringing)
      Man           : Oops. It’s time for the oral test. See you after class. Good luck!
